The main mission and one of the core values of our team is to help other people. Every day we do everything we can to help as many people in need as possible, despite the daily challenges.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n
Our foundation was established in 2020 in San Diego, California. Its founders and ideological inspirers are Ukrainians Yana and Vlad Khorenko, who emigrated to the United States in 2014 after the annexation of Crimea and the invasion of Russian troops into the Ukrainian Donbass.<\/p>\n
Since its inception, the I Care Ministry Foundation has been actively raising funds to help those who need it most. We also work with organizations in Ukraine and other countries to implement various charitable initiatives and projects.<\/p>\n
The “I Care Ministry” charitable foundation was initially established to provide financial support to pastors from villages and small towns in Ukraine who have dedicated their lives to serving God and are unable to provide for their families because they devote all of their free time to the church. Through our foundation, people from different parts of the world can financially support clergy in Ukrainian regions by donating whatever amount they can.<\/p>\n
\nOur goal is to unite believers who have left Ukraine with believers and pastors who have stayed in the country and continue to serve God here.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n
Since February 24, 2022, with the beginning of the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine, we have been actively helping churches and people caught in the combat zone. Currently, our Foundation is in contact with more than 130 pastors, helping not only them, but also the most vulnerable sections of the population.<\/p>\n
With your donations, we purchase food and basic necessities, which local pastors distribute to those in need. Our pastors also help displaced people who have been forced to leave their homes and move to villages, often with no savings, due to Russia’s ongoing war with Ukraine.<\/p>\n
Beginning in 2022, our Foundation has found sponsors among U.S. residents for 26 students from Ukrainian orphanages in occupied and front-line areas who have been placed in foster homes. Each of these families is in dire need of financial support, as they had 5-7 orphans in their care before the full-scale invasion began.<\/p>\n
The charitable foundation “I Care Ministry” actively supports Ukrainian refugees who came to the United States under the humanitarian program “Uniting for Ukraine”. Together with local volunteers and fellow believers, we helped them find housing in America, prepare documents, and provide psychological support to people who fled their homes to save their children and elderly parents from Russian aggression. We opened a hotline where volunteers could communicate with Ukrainian refugees, assess their needs, and provide whatever assistance they could.<\/p>\n
